The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce AGM will be held first, commencing promptly at 5:00 PM. This essential meeting allows members to participate in the governance of the Chamber and hear about the year's achievements. Following the AGM, we invite you to stay for the Business After 5 event with The Copier Company, starting at approximately 5:30 PM.

AGM Agenda:

  • Opening Remarks: A warm welcome and introduction to set the stage for a productive session.
  • Apologies: Acknowledgement of members unable to attend.
  • Approval of Minutes: Review and ratify the minutes from the previous AGM.
  • Matters Arising: Discuss and address any outstanding issues from the last meeting.
  • Chair's Annual Report: Reflect on the year’s achievements and milestones under the Chair’s leadership.
  • Chief Executive’s Annual Report: Insights into the Chamber's performance and strategic direction from our Interim CEO.
  • Financial Statements: Presentation and examination of the financial reports for the fiscal year 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024.
  • Election of Officers: Announcement of the newly appointed Chamber officials.
  • General Business: Business of which notice has been given.
  • Closure: Concluding remarks and adjournment of the meeting.

Board Nominations: Two Vacancies and a Co-opted Young Member

Nominations for the Board must be emailed to stephen@mcoc.org.nz no later than 5.00pm Wednesday 09 October 2024. Form can be found here.

Proxy Voting: If the end-of-year rush precludes your attendance, your voice can still be heard. Please find a proxy voting form attached here to ensure your representation.
