Rainbow Inclusive Workplaces: Pride Pledge Workshop
Creating truly inclusive workplaces doesn’t happen by accident. It takes intention, learning, and a willingness to evolve.
This workshop is delivered by Pride Pledge and explores how businesses and organisations can take meaningful steps to better support rainbow staff, customers and communities.
Pride Pledge is a nationwide organisation that works alongside businesses, organisations and community groups across Aotearoa to strengthen rainbow inclusion. Through education, training and practical resources, they support organisations to build environments where rainbow people feel safe, respected and valued.
From policies and workplace culture to everyday language and visibility, this session focuses on tangible, practical actions that organisations can take to create safer and more inclusive environments.
This workshop is free to attend, however places are limited to 25 participants and registrations are essential.
Keeping the group small allows for meaningful discussion and ensures the workshop remains supportive, open and focused. Conversations around inclusion are not always easy, and a smaller setting helps create a space where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing perspectives and learning together.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow. Participants are also encouraged to take insights from the workshop back into their workplaces, continue engaging with Pride Pledge if they wish, and play an active role in creating positive change.
