I enjoy being involved in a diverse range of activities and keeping busy. Right now, that involves several directorships as well as setting up the best little consulting company in the world. My 5 children have all left home so I have a lot more flexibility regarding new and exciting projects. 'Eclectic' is probably the right way to describe my previous jobs which ranged from physiotherapist to medical researcher, school gala specialist and Member of Parliament (with several others in between).
I've just left the Army Reserve after 10 years so am having to find my own motivation to get the running shoes on regularly. I love boating (helpful when you own one) and like the idea of fishing - unfortunately the fish have other ideas about being caught more often than not.
Then, there's interests. But why would the average reader be surprised at me being a piano playing, whisky appreciating, flower growing, tramping, camping, wine sipping, beach walker?
