Are you looking to employ migrants and attract skills from overseas to overcome skill shortages? Then this 90 minute workshop is for you. 

The workshop is designed to help Marlborough employers gain the necessary information required to become accredited and apply the new Accredited Employer Visa policy. 

What employers need to know: 

The Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) is a new temporary work visa being introduced on 4 July 2022. 

You must be accredited to hire migrant workers on an AEWV. 

There are 3 steps to hiring a migrant on the AEWV. These are accreditation, the job check, and the AEWV application. 

You can apply for accreditation from 23 May 2022 and for a job check from 20 June 2022. 

The workshop will cover the following topics:
• The new Accredited Employer Work Visa rules
• Update on the work visa process, so you can hire or retain your staff
• Immigration Visa changes 

This will include an electronic information pack which participants may be sent at the completion of the session.
