Pete Coldwell

Chief Executive

About

Pete arrived with his young family in Marlborough in 2007. They chose to live here, believing the region is a world-beater as a place to raise a family.

Over those years, he has seen a lot of development and growth, with additions such as the ASB Theatre, Convention Centre, the Stadium development, Picton marina upgrades. Pete is excited to be part of our General Manager as he thrives on enabling business development.

Since he arrived in Marlborough, he has worked in the winery business, running Seresin Estate, then as Managing Director of the Highfield TerraVin for the last three years. Pete has been on the Board of Trustees at Springlands School for the last 7 years, including being the Board Chair for three of those years. With 20 years in senior roles in large hospitality businesses, including owning his own consultancy, Pete has a broad understanding of the varied challenges facing businesses across Marlborough.

A proud “Quad Father,” Pete is mad for the ski slopes, and rumour has it he moonlights as a dinner party MasterChef.
